The Mayan Riviera is a coastal strip of more of 87 miles long located on the eastern coast of Quintana Roo, México. It includes isolated beaches to modern resorts that include hotels, marinas,sports facilities and restaurants. “Playa del Carmen”, for example, was a calm fishing town, now is home to hotels of international prestige. Nearby is the main ecological reserve of the area, Sian Káan, home of a very rich flora and fauna.
